Pick your computer, follow the steps, then sign in with the email you bought Lucky Charm with. After that, updates arrive inside the app: you never need to come back here.

Mac

macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple silicon or Intel.

Easiest: one line, no security prompts

1. Open Terminal: press ⌘ Space, type Terminal and press Return.
2. Copy this line, paste it into Terminal and press Return:

3. Lucky Charm opens by itself. Sign in, and your charm appears at the top of your screen.

Download for Mac · 0.3.1

1. Open the downloaded Lucky Charm file (it ends in .dmg).
2. Drag the Lucky Charm icon onto the Applications folder.
3. Open Lucky Charm from Applications. The first time, your Mac asks you to confirm it:
   • macOS 15 Sequoia or later: choose Done, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, click Open Anyway next to Lucky Charm and enter your Mac password.
   • macOS 14 Sonoma: in Applications, Control-click Lucky Charm, choose Open, then Open again.
4. Sign in. You only confirm once; it opens normally from then on.

Updates

When a new version is ready, Lucky Charm shows a notification. Click it, or choose Update in the app, and it updates and reopens by itself. Your charms, photos and settings stay as they are.

Why the extra step?
